Middle East Laboratory Testing & Technical Services (MELTTS) was established in 2005.

The scope of work of MELTTS includes providing electrical and electronic testing services, training and technical studies.

MELTTS is a joint venture between the Royal Scientific Society and Bureau Veritas.

The company's laboratories are the successor of the testing and quality control laboratory in the Electronic Services and Training Center, which was established in 1981.

Middle East Laboratory Testing & Technical Services (MELTTS) is accredited by the Jordanian Accreditation System (JAS) according to ISO/IEC 17025: 2005.

MELTTS Laboratories have several contracts with different factories and companies in Jordan with the aim of testing their electrical products according to the Jordanian Standards (JS) and providing them with technical studies for improving the quality of their electrical products.

MELTTS Laboratories are also approved in the neighboring Arab countries for testing of a wide range of electrical appliances and products according to international standards and regional requirements such as IEC and BS standards.

MELTTS Laboratories provide testing services to different factories, companies and institutions in the region such as Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, etc….
